The metrology laboratory has a 3D camera that can be used to scan following different angles of pieces even with complex shapes up to 75cm in size.
Depending on the size of the part and the optics used, its precision is between 0.01 and 0.025mm.
The head being transportable on a tripod, we will be able to scan for example conformity, foundry footprints, rough parts, machines, etc…
Various possibilities are available to us once the part is scanned, either to make standard dimensional control or to superimpose it on the 3D plane of the part
With the color scheme it allows us to judge in the blink of an eye of its conformity. The more green there is, the best it is!
Thanks to this new means of control, we have gained in speed of analysis and we are more responsive to meet the demands of our customers.
